The sound of Norway

The sound of Norway is the sound of moving water, not to say falling water. When travelling in this harsh, but beautiful landscape, one of the most striking features of Norway is precisely that - it's water everywhere. Mostly as whipping rain, but also as rumbling waterfalls, crushing waves, the dripping from an oar in a kayak or an old wooden boat, rivers of all sizes and even the silent sound of mist, floating in from the ocean, covering up the fjords in a thick, white coat, protecting us against all sound, exept for the boats howling to warn each other that they are coming.

It's beautiful.
And don't worry, my nynorsk-lovers, I will soon get back to my mother tongue. Men nett dette var litt finare på engelsk, var det ikkje?
